Karis is best known for her recurring role as Ronna Beckman, on the final two seasons of the acclaimed series, The West Wing. She has also recurred on

The Resident, The Fosters, and has had major guest-starring roles on many hit television shows including; ER, Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS, Battle Creek and The Forgotten, among others.

Audie Award Finalist in the fantasy category, for her very first efforts as a narrator. Set-up with a home-studio, she is deeply grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with many talented writers as she gets to bring her voice and storytelling skills to their prose.

Karis graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and spent her early adult years training and working in the theatre in London, New York, Wisconsin and Seattle. When her focus shifted to exciting opportunities in the film and television industry, she happily began calling Los Angeles home.

Born and raised in Asia, Karis proudly considers herself a global citizen and she is thrilled to be raising two wonderful children, who are eagerly following in her worldly footsteps. Her greatest passion;  beyond her artistic expression as an actor, narrator, writer and director, is traveling and exploring the world and other cultures with her husband and their two beautiful children.
